4th Monday Mid Singles FHE

The Cedar West Stake will be hosting an FHE this coming Monday for all singles  ages 30 to 50 and their kids (Please RSVP if you are bringing kids) We will be meeting at the Smiths house - 785 S. St. James Place @ 7:00pm. So come and have fun! :-)

Skating activity

Hey Everybody, The Cedar West Stake is hosting an activity at the Skating Rink (Cedar Skate) this Saturday @ 2:00pm Everybody is invited. Tell all your friends. P.S. This activity will be in lieu of our normal 4th Monday FHE. So no FHE next monday, but everyone come get your Skate on. @ 912 NORTH AIRPORT ROAD

January 13 Fireside: Speaker Bishop Thomas Higbee

The speaker for January's regional fireside for single adults will be Judge Thomas Higbee. Judge Higbee is a former bishop and Stake President, and I have heard him called "The best speaker l've ever heard. He will be speaking about making good decisions, and it should be really good. This devotional will be held at the Greenslake chapel Sunday January 13 @ 7pm. Please help us get out the word about this activity. See you there!

December Activities

We have about a dozen tickets for the Monday Night (Dec 10) performance of Handel's Messiah . Join the event if you want one... Because we are doing this in lieu of the Mid Singles FHE preference will be given to singles under 50, but if you want one let me know and I'll make sure any extras go to a good home.

Also The West Stake is hosting it's third Dec. Game Night for singles and their kids on Saturday Dec 15. We will have a variety of great games, and we are inviting everyone to join us for this awesome activity. We had such great attendance the last few years, we decided to do it again. This year we are also formally inviting you to bring a treat. Maybe it's something extra you were given, or maybe just something tasty you want to snack on. Anything is welcome. Games are also welcome, if you have something you want to play... especially if rhymes with Breationary. :) 

November 17:Service Project

The Cedar West Stake singles are having a service activity tomorrow (Saturday Nov. 17). We are doing the first annual "ONE CAN scavenger hunt for the care and share." The goal being to collect one can of food from as many people as possible. We will be meeting at the Cedar West Stake Center (715 South 1100 West) @ 10:00 am. There will be prizes so come and have fun with our awesome service project.
